I saw the best hopes of America gutted by grinning hyenas,
slinking into the People’s House with forked tongues, in red hats and suits reeking of oil and blood,
the Constitution rolled and smoked like a cheap cigar!
I saw citizenship hawked on gold cards like knockoff watches in the alleyways of empire!
I saw the rich laughing with their blood-slick hands, passing passports across mahogany tables,
the tyrant pocketing the people’s dreams, stuffing freedom into Swiss bank vaults!
I saw laws shredded like confetti under jackboot parades,
habeas corpus strangled in midnight raids,
citizens vanished into black-site slaughterhouses,
their screams stitched into the stars and stripes like a dirty secret!
No judge! No jury! No voice!
Only the gaping black mouth of authoritarian hunger,
devouring Bunker Hill, burning Selma, pissing on Bastogne and the blood at Antietam!
The rats gnawing through the beams of the Republic while the House stinks of betrayal!
The fascist freakshow wheels its cart through the ruins,
hawking rights for the highest bidder,
hawking dignity for power,
hawking patriotism for a fistful of dirty dollars!
AND YET —
We the People rise from the gutters and the fields,
We the People howl through the canyons and the streets,
We the People rattle the bones of dead kings and tyrants with our RESONANT FREQUENCY!
You cannot disappear free speech — IT IS CARVED INTO OUR DNA!
You cannot silence dissent — IT BURNS IN OUR BREATH!
You cannot exile the spirit of liberty — IT ROARS FROM OUR FISTS!
From Lexington’s green to the bridges of Selma, from Standing Rock to the streets of every battered town —
We carry the torch,
We sing the unsilenced song,
We dance the rebellion,
We tear down the lie, brick by bloody brick!
WE — THE PEOPLE — Are ALL
Paul Revere Now!
WE – THE – PEOPLE
still stand,
still fight,
still roar,
still LIVE —
One Nation!
Under no tyrant!
With Liberty!
And Justice!
