I’m thrilled to announce that my dear friend Christopher Coppola asked me to create a cinema poem for the one and only, Francis Ford Coppola’s 85th birthday. Introducing ‘Behind the Unknown,’ an original poem crafted with love and admiration. 
Paired with stunning visuals by the incredibly talented cinematographer Stuart R. Whalin, this project has been a true labor of love.

Behind the Unknown
Upon the precipice where the cosmos converges,
At the event horizon where dreams surge,
A lineage’s tale whispered, unwinds,
Unlocking the codes fate binds.
In strands of DNA, secrets hold sway,
Echoing the journey, night and day,
Through abyssal depths, they navigate,
Arriving at this moment, as if by fate.
Experience, a currency of time,
Bows the seeker in the paradigm,
Reality’s veil, now torn asunder,
Reveals truths, once buried under.
Sacrifice, a tribute to the cosmic dance,
Leads to love’s embrace, in radiant trance,
From the heart’s depths, it emanates,
Transforming all, as destiny dictates.
With eyes enlightened, the seeker sees,
In infinite reflections, divine keys,
At the juncture where worlds collide,
Love’s embrace becomes their guide.
In the wisdom of the heart’s embrace,
Lies the secret of reality’s grace,
For on the edge, where seekers roam,
Love’s truth transforms, leading them home.
